Smith’s Castle in conjunction with the NinigretArt Guild will host an art show and sale on Friday, October 21st from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 22nd from 9:30-2:00 p.m. A reception for the artists will be held on Saturdaywith refreshments and a special filmed presentationat 11:00 from author and art historian Anne Louise Avery who has recently identified a painting of Smith’s Castle by the esteemed Providence artist Edward Mitchell Bannister.

Members of the Art Guild and the artists will be on hand to discuss and sell their work at the exhibit which will include landscapes composed on the grounds of the Castle and other sites around Rhode Island.

A percentage of the sale of artworks displayed will benefit The Cocumscussoc Association.
