Smith's Castle is an award-winning historic site where four centuries of Rhode Island history are preserved and interpreted through tours, historic reenactments, and educational programs for both adults and children. It is located at 55 Richard Smith Drive in North Kingstown, RI 02852.
From Route 95 South
Take Exit 9 (on the left) to Rt. 4 (like you are going to Newport)
Take Exit 5A (Wickford) to get on to Rt. 102 South.
Go to the end of Rt. 102. Shell Gas Station is on right.
Turn left (North) on Rt. 1.
Continue straight at next light. Pass Police and Fire Departments on right.
The Castle is on the right, across from the State Police Barracks.
Turn right at the "Smith's Castle Historic House" sign.
From the North
Take Rt. 95 South and follow the directions "From Route 95 South."
From the South
Take Rt. 95 east toward Rhode Island.
Take Exit 5A Route 102 South towards North Kingstown.
Stay on Rt. 102 as it crosses Rt.4 and follow the directions as if coming from Rt. 95 South.
From the East
Take Route 195 West towards Fall River/ Providence.
Merge onto Route 95 South and follow the directions "From Route 95 South."
From the Northwest
Take I 90 East Towards Boston.
Exit at Route 146 South, Exit 10A towards Worcester/Providence
Exit at Route 295 South towards Warwick
Merge onto Route 95 South and follow the directions "From Route 95 South."
